dc5 muffler

would any muffler for the dc5 fit our civics?? i'm talking about just the muffler...

but if someone knows, does the dc5 mid pipe also fit the civic (sedan)??

i want to get the mugen racing exhaust system
http://www.kingmotorsports.com/product.asp?product=202
does anyone know if this would fit the sedan? maybe even close??? because this is the same exhaust on the 2.0i-vtec 04 civic sedan in malaysia

does anyone know if this would fit???

No, midpipe is not direct bolt on.

Far as muffler section goes, they will not bolt on correctly.
Will stick out about 3-4 inches from rear bumper.

You will have to modify to make it fit perfectly.

My 5zigen exhaust is for an RSX type S. It had to be modified with new hangers, it had to be cut, and lenthened. The resonator and actual muffler are the same. I only did this because at the time I was looking for an exhaust system there was nothing local. The shop did the retrofit for $700 canadian which isn't that bad.

i dont think the strut tower bars from spoon will fit our cars, all the little miscelaneous dress up things will but as far as performance, i think maybe only the rear lower tie bar and the muffler. thats if ur willing to buy a spoon n1 and have someone cut it to fit.

Rear sturt bar only fits, not front upper strut bar.

Low front tie bar, rear low tie bar also fits.

It will need to be cut and new portions of piping will need to be added. The hangers will need to be modified. I am not sure of everything the shop did to get it to fit but they worked it out. If your going to spend $1300 on the exhaust system just to have an exhaust shop cut it up and make it fit you are wasting your money. The $700 I spent included the 5zigen Fireball exhaust system plus labour and materials.

You are right, Grey has one.

I was thinking EP3. Need relocation on brake fluid resevoir for strut bar clearance.
No big deal.
Neuspeed is better anyways.

^^j's racing is the best!!

but yea..anyways

i'm not specifically buying that one...the 1300 mugen one...i was actually looking at the spoon street one..the one that looks oem...i'm gonna get just the muffler, then get it custom piped from header to muffler....with high flow cat etc...but IF the dc5 one does infact fit..i'd definitely will try to save to get that exhaust...and oh, btw, it's not 1300, mugen stuff is well overpriced...i can get it cheaper...

He he.....I'll see you on MSN later then....ha ha.

Hmmm....well, a front lower tie might have to suffice. Frankly I'm thinking I have to raise the car up a bit next season anyway though (bigger+wider rims) so maybe I'll be able to squeeze a Tanabe in there. Definitely gotta get AT LEAST my rear upper back though....it feels a little looser back there.
