Well since I don't want to spend the money on a turbo, and nitrous wouldn't work so hot with an automatic, I guess I'm left with a stock civic. I really wish I would have bought the manual ,but I was concerned it would be a hassle for stop and go freeway driving. So... my thoughts about intake, exhaust and a header providing very little performance seem to be confirmed by most people's comments. Oh well, guess I'll have to focus on some other aspect.

with the turbo kit are you going to keep the other components stock? Wouldn't you start to see gains from a new exhaust, header and intake when you are running boost? Because the way I look at it, if you get a turbo and keep the rest stock you are probably not extracting full potential from the turbo, but if you just get the other stuff you don't get any gains, it looks to me likes it is all or nothing. what kind of output do you think you will be getting with a turbo? I can't imagine getting more than 30-40 more horsepower unless you want to put significant stress on your engine.

turbo or swap and that is all. The N/a setip on d17 is already maxed out
Well... JP375 have a point.
Suspension upgrade is one of the best mod you can made to 7th Gen Civics. Stock suspension arquitecture is well designed, but the car is too high, wich first, looks bad, and seccond everybody with a 7th gen civic knows they are really bouncy, so stock suspension might be well designed but not appropiate for our cars, at least 2001-2002, cause for 2003-04 they feel less bouncy.
When I installed my H&R w/ Tokico Shocks, I felt really pleased with the updgrade, and I still pleased and I believe that the best thing I've done to the car. And yes, your car will handle better under any driving conditions, slow or fast driving,
