also keep in mind....after the rinsing and clensing make sure you let it dry for a long period of time too..
i think aem and K&N makes filter cleaning kits. i think their like $20?+ ppl told me you get a cup or bucket, pour the cleaning liquid into it, and dip the filter in their for a minute and remove. but sounds kinda odd. =|

I bought the K&N filter cleaning kit from Pep Boys.... it was about $15 I think. Basically, 2 spray cans. 1 spray for the cleaning liquid, and 1 is for the oil.
i've had mine on for like 13,000 miles and it never got dirty? its a full intake too, it looks the same as it does the first time i got it... is that normal? or is the dirty on there, and i just can't tell?
