They need to be a litle more lienient(sp?) IMO. If they need a doner car, that doner should not have top pay for the parts as well. Thats
Now that my car is approaching 100K miles, its time I considered building it up. I'd get in on this as well.

I would buy a NEW na cam this very minute if they offered one. If I had an extra cam I would send it in. I have been looking for a good used one to have reground by crower but they are a bitch to get seperatly. Are they seriously thinkg about Making a NEW cam? or do thye want to fiddle with a regrind? A new one from majestic is about 150 if I remeber right. I am tempted to buy it and send it in. But if they came out with a new one after I got mine reground I would be pissed
cam cam cam cam cam cam. easy to install and a decent gain in power.

I take it back a new cam is $220.00
I would buy it ,ship it, and my spare vtec head if they would re-grind it for free or give me a new crower one. I would also like my head back in the same shape I sent it. I don't need any head parts at this time ...well maybe some flat top valves to raise my comp up a bit.

BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG NEWS
I just got off the phone with Brain at Crower and here is how we do this:
1. I need somoene to donate a whole motor or just head (I will prioritize full motor people first)
2. The motor will be sent to Crower where it will be R&D'd for about 6 months.
3. The donated motor will have a fully built top and bottom end when it comes back along with a line of products available to the public that are similar in the donated motor.
COST:
You pay the shipping charges and $125 fee to Truehonda Inc.
WHAT YOU GET IN END:
A fully built motor that will cost you about 300 bux all together

If they plan to run this engine they are gonna need an ecu and full engine harness.....
unless they have a car ready to slap it in already.
unless they have a car ready to slap it in already.
Now that's what I like to hear!
I have an entire motor but unfortunately it has something wrong with it.
I can donate parts but I think it would be worth seeing if someone can donate the enitre motor so it can be tested all together.
TrueHonda if nobody comes up with motor soon, let us know and I will start by donating a Cam or Head if they are in proper working order.
Thank you!
