I have an AEM SRI. I installed it about 3 months ago, but thinking of removing it now. It's just loud and looks cool when I open the hood and speedwise... no I don't feel a difference.

Why do you guys keep your SRIs? What advantages do you have?

Not really any advantages in our cars. If you want performance get rid of your AEM and get the K&N FIPKII. I have the AEM short ram and I think its sweet. Once I tightened up my throttle cable a little bit I felt more power in the upper rpms.

how would tightening the throttle cable make you feel more power? just a question, i thought all it did was give you more throttle response when you press on the gas

No it wont make more power. It just takes off that slack u have in the gas pedal. I like it cuz theres no more slack so as soon as you hit the pedal it goes

Yeah, seriously. I lost low end power with the AEM SRI. Put your stock airbox back and it will feel faster below 4k rpms.

Lol, sound was cool until it got annoying. Try driving up the mountains and hearing it constantly. That and power loss.

I agree. I thought there was noticable gain with the k&n FIPK II, especially after my cat-back robbed me of low end torque. I bought mine for $184 and I felt it was worth it.

Well dont get me wrong but CAI have low end which i dont like it, so a few days ago i changed with my IJEN RD SRI man talk about the pull MIDs i mean rite when it reach 4k rpm it pulls hard but dont get me wrong i also have i/h/e so you have to have the i\h\e to feel more power so like i said SRI makes more power to my experience Search and you will fine this is my thought, so before any of ya out there start talking its my thoughts not urs im out,
