I was wondering if anyone here has one of the AEM v2's installed. are the HP gains any better than that of the original aem cai? Also, I have a m/t 2004 Civic EX. However for this model, the aem v2 it says 2001-2003 m/t EX only...because of the new front bumper will this intake not fit on my car? Everyone seems to likethe K&N cai but is this available for a 2004? Please help me.

The V2 is ok,I dont know if its better or not than the cold air but its supposed to be...Oh and it is really a short ram pretty much for our cars(I have no idea why but it is.....And if your looking for that loud intake noise its not really there....Its louder than stock but not nearly as loud as most intakes.....There is a bit of a gain in the higher rpms......I'd probably get something else if I didnt have it already...I'd probably try the Iceman just beacuse as far as I know no one here has it...But as far as gains everyone seems to think the k&n fipkII is the best for our cars

people seem to like the K&N fipk, i have the AEM v2 and i like it sounds good gave better throttle response, pics are in my members ride, yes it will fit the engine is the same and the clearance shouldnt be an issue

basically any intake will not give you enough hp to notice anything, but are rather for looks and the sound

don't shell out an extra $100 for like at most +2 hp from the original aem cai
