The belt is still turning even with it off, you would need to remove the belt altogether, and be set, if you don't want the AC and then take the whole system out, it's nearly 200 LBS. That's 10 Hp less the car would use to push that weight, and probably 2-3 at the wheels from removing the belt.
I thought I just saw this on the Dh racing website "Dh-Racing Crank Pulley
NOW AVAILABLE WITH AC AND PS FOR ALL MODELS, D17'S, B-SERIES, SOHC MOTORS, ECT..."
Any info on price and performance numbers??

This part is a group buy right now and it is down to 145 ^^
For our car it should gain 10-15 whp with keeping the ps and ac.

Basically, DH Racing is selling a single groove crank pulley that will drive the crank and the PS for i think $110 shipped. The gains from this are around 20 wheel hp. They are also selling a dual groove pulley that allows u to turn the crank, the AC, and the PS for $145. THe expected gains are 10+ wheel hp. Check out the thread above for more info.

I don't know if this is a repost but, I would like some comments. Steve Dinan raises some serious concerns: http://dinancars.com/html/danger_of_power_pulleys.htm

It's been covered over and over. The DH pulley is perfectly even and won't cause any engine damage. There's more info in the group buy thread.
I took off my power steering belt last night and i could tell the gain! I get alot fast acceleration off the start, and it revs alittle faster. But its a pain in the a$$ to turn!
Hey Josh if i have AEM pulleys, will they work with the new crank that has the 2 groves?

Anyone know what a keyway is????

I think it means that the pulley presses on. There is no space between it and the crank, so there is no way it can cause rotational vibration.
I can't totally turn my daily driver to a race car. I need the PS. My friend who has a del sol bought a crank pulley and lost his PS. It was funny because it sucked trying to turn in it.

Our pulley is pressed onto the cranks external shaft. It is perfect being it is one with the crank and no chance for it moving, or ever vibrating. Unorthadox's is proven to vibrate and blow motors, and so are others out there. The key was is like a key to the pulley that holds it on the crank and prevents it from turning away from the crank. They dont always work, and our pulley gets around that issue by pressing it on.

josh in another thread i think the dh racing install prices one, someone said that the stock pulley is only on there with 14ft/lbs if torque and rotated 90 degrees, and that honda doesnt recommend using an impact on it? any of that true?

Well Honda reads a book, I do the installs, and tell you what I learn from it. I use a 600 FT lb Air Impact that can break cranks and never had a problem, but I also use my electric impact, and it works just fine.
