Everyone is so tough here! W/ the possible probs a crank pulley can be on our car- I have had my UR crank pulley on for over a year and a 1/2 and no probs.
Also, who cares about the PS and A/C? The A/c just pulls on our engine anyways.
I never got to dyno my car before I put my turbo on but the car is NOTICEABLY different w/ an upgraded crank pulley.
DH Racing- looking for a stock pulley still? Have one if you need it....

Ive taken the pulley off myself and its Not easy. if you try to use a socket and breaker bar. Think again its not coming off. It seriously too me 3 days to get mine off. i broke 3 sockets and finally bought the right socket used an extension with my breaker bar and a clamp on the pulley and finally got it off. I broke my stock pulley.
damn... shouldnt we be straight with air tools??? maybe you didnt have? i have 550ft/lbs impact gun.. i know thats not big.. but should be enough.. has been for every other bolt ive ever done short of a lower rear control arm bolt on a 4thgen civic (my beater, it snapped that biolt in half.. damn seezed honda bolts... but its still in.. LMAO... not gonna tap out and replace.. it holds fine...)
oih.. and i'll have the socket.. just gotta run up to honda and borrow one from one of the mechanics... LOL... thats HELLA iimportant with thsee bro.. cant believe you would try to use anything that didnt fit PERFECT.. taht mustve SUCKED!!!!

I honestly say this to every person who wants to take up working on their car. You want ATLEAST a 600 Ft LB Ingersol Impact, and a very nice compressor with some nice impact sockets for things like this. Damn I have a bitch getting the stock pulley of when I am breaking motors down out of the car. I use a chain vice grip combined with a snap-on 3 1/2 Ft. Breaker bar, and Snap On Impact Sockets. Don't waste your money on BS and buying 20 Sockets just get the good stuff the first time, and put that tool collection together. No offense intended to anyone just to help everyone out if they dont already work on getting these.Originally posted by futurersxswap

I need to see the dynos.. but besides that I need my AC and power steering the car is still a daily driver. Now if you make one for the K series I would be even more intrested.

i cant wait to see the dyno's either....i sure as hell want pistons and rods, retainers and valves and springs, and all the shiznit that will make my AT, THE fastest in the west...i'm workin on the motor first...then its all about getting my body made of nothing but carbon fiber.....heck, i've seen an AT 7th gen EX D17 on ebay for 700 bux...i might as well get that and build it up....sounds like a plan!
i should have my crank pulley here this week.. i will give you my "but" dyno resulsts,... but NOTHING without boost, and no reall dynos.. i need more time and parts before i hit one up.. im just doing it to test foit for josh and them... you guys owe me for this.. hehehe...
Ditto on the can't wait part
I hope this isn't a bust like the KMS intake manifold.

I'm still wondering what it will take to make it work for people who have the AEM pullies on?

You wouldn't have a need for that if you are using our pulley kit.Originally posted by 00celicagts6spd

DhRacingJosh- on your pully system realistically how much hp do you think we would get? What are some other things that you feel would make a big difference in our cars (which you sell). All for under $1k

I think he is asking can he keep his AEM pullies and just add your crank pulley, so as to not spend more money on something he already has. Is that possible?Orignally posted by DHracing You wouldn't have a need for that if you are using our pulley kit.

Realistically the SOHC motor turns a bigger stroke to HP Used Ratio, and can make the same HP as seen in the DYNO. Yes believe it everyone. The fact that the SOHC motor puts out less HP then the Type-R means nothing the SOHC motors retain stroke to get their displacement, hence the reason the SOHC motors have the same displacement as a B16 Motor, so with that when you lighten the pulleys it has less to turn, and puts down just about if not the same power as bigger motors. With the complete pulley kit (AC and PS also) expect a bit less but still a 10+ HP at the wheels gainer. The next step I would do is the custom manifold and throttle body combo for $750. Then a ported head for $750. This would prove to be a killer setup.Originally posted by JSWhaler

Well the crank pulley is the only pulley that goes on the crank, so you could keep your alternator pulley, but if you are talking about the AEM pullies that have one solid pulley like stock on the crank then no.Originally posted by runner1738

unorthodox pulley is about 300 bines...AEM can be picked up for about 100..
OBX...60 bucks....this one...hmm who knows?

Our will be the best price for the buck. None of those pullies hold a candle to ours. Which is why we have the most powerful pulley on the market.Originally posted by kjgracing

Do you have any power estimates or dynos for the throttle body/manifold combo just so i can get a feel with what i can get for my money? Thanks. Dh-racing rules! Originally posted by DhRacingJosh

Oh yeah, and on your site you list three different throttle body sizes: 70, 68, and 64 i think. Which fits the D17?

We are only carrying the 69mm right now. Where do you see the manifold for $350. The custom manifold is listed for $450 and $50 off for your core. Let me know.Originally posted by Civictuner04

My bad. I was looking at the highly bored/ported manifold, not the custom one. I was lookin under manifold packages, sorry. But anyways, so the 69 mm wil fit our engine?Originally posted by DhRacingJosh
