What happened with Helix Power?

Remember this thread about the helix power tower? http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...threadid=98340

With all of the purchases and dyno expectations, we didnt even get a review or better yet a dyno. does anyone remember what happened?

humm....i've never seen this before. i just spent a half an hour reading all those posts, and there was no dyno sheet at the end.

i want to know the gains myself. i have one of these, it does improve power and millage, but i think it's only giving about 5 hp and i get like 3 more miles to the gallon.

Is it worth it at all? I was considering it because noone had posted a dyno or anything.. They arren't overly expencive either, so I thought I'd give it a shot..

yeah, i like it. when you mash the throttle, it sounds like you have a tiny supercharger.
since i bought mine,(before i was a member) i've seen a few different companies producing them.
if you have some money burning a hole in your pocket, get one.

it took me about half an hour to install. real simple.

make shure it clears your hood.

same here civic-king. I'm interested just for the fact that it increases gas mileage if nothing else.

I don't think it will work with FIPK tho, because I have the FIPK and there's barely enough room for the hood to close. If you raised it up one inch the hood would not close.

you can make anything fit. you could shave some of the plastic off by the throttle body, and cut some of the rubber off the "hose" that connects the FIPK to the throttle body.
if you had a metal one, it might be harder, you would have to cut more of the grommet.(hose)
