should i upgrade?

when i got all my parts for my car i was plannin on gettin the V2 but the guy said it wasn't that much better than the cai for the money and then he said just to get the aem short ram cause the main purpose is just to get better air flow so i went with the short ram, but right now im jus bringin warm air from the engine bay in so im thinkin the cai or the V2 would be nice, would it be worth it to get a cai or even the V2 or anything else i hear all you talkin bout the fipk or somethin, would i feel any gain over what i have now cause i had a cai on my si and i felt it pull harder than the short ram, also it sounded better, just wonderin if i should spend the money on somethin i wont even notice a difference on, sorry if this Q has been asked before

V2 is SRI. there wasnt any space for second pipe so aem made SRI instead of cai. so that wont really help out. i would go with injen cai.

Forget about AEM, and go with the Injen CAI, it's positioned near the bumper, where there actually is cold air...

Yeah Blur Injen CAI are the best they are dyno proven in several mags they are just now starting to get the respect they deserve. However AEM CAI neted the highest gains in the import tuner magazine however that was on an RSX TYPE S which revs a little higher then a EX CIVIC. Hey maybe you should check your revs on your car because just because you add an CAI it may not really do much but make more noise each intake is designed to perfrom at a certain RPM and if your car cant reach that then its a waste of money good luck

ok i feel like an idiot, i read the post quickly when ya said the injen cai and thought ya mean the injen short ram, yeah i know injen are good but i thought aem cai had better gains and i saw a dyno for the V2 and it had even better gains than the cai so im a lil confused about that, but either way if i do decide to go with one of those will i even notice a difference over my sri or should i just stay with it, thats my real question and then if i will notice it then i'd have to chose which of those three i would go with, also thanks for all your help everyone

CapYoda has a spectacular aura aboutCapYoda has a spectacular aura about
all the same for our car.

1-2 hp.

just depends on which one u can get for cheaper price.

injen's CAI is more of a traditional CAI though.. the AEM CAI doesn't go all the way out of the engine bay.. if you check the reviews page, or install page, or DIY pages, you can see find more detail on each CAI system.

personally I recommend the K&N FIPK.
