I installed the head last week. Been driving it with the stock lx exhaust manifold, and an ebay short ram. WAY faster than stock. I am builing a set of headers for it then i will take it to the track and maybe the dyno.
The cars feels like it has 3 psi of boost on it all the time. The power is there from 1200 rpm all the way to 7000.

holy crap, and thats with no turbo kit. I GOT THE MONEY IN JANURARY
Is that too far away? And do you think he will have core's avaible....also you never answered my question about if he could bore the stock throttle body also.
edit*
I kinda think i will get better gains from this guy doing it than kms...what do you think catalyst?

I really cant say anything about KMS, because i have never seen their work first hand. I do know that DHracing holds several world records for his port work, and i have never seen work like his ever in my life. His work is just beautiful.
Dave should have a core in the shop soon. So the waiting period should be shortened substantially.
We will be offering the port work as long as we are in business (and DHracing for that matter).
Dave cant bore te stock throttlebody, but we are in the process of making a whole new intake manifold, that uses an Erick's Racing throttlebody on it (avail. in 74mm and 82mm).
Oh... and i can guarentee that Dave Hickman himself will be doing the portwork on all of your heads. So you know that you will be buying quality.

Yea catalyst, what kind of work did you get done? Im assuming you got the FI P&P job. Aren't you running the car without boost right now? so since you got such an incrase(im assuming) i would like to get the same work as you got. (another question, do the FI/ N/A P&P vary much?)
BTW im gong N/A for now

mike put me down for this but is the price going to be like 6bills. i know daves work is good but if im giveing him my stock to pNp i think 6 is a lil to much but if i was buying the head from him then i can understand but i rather use my own head and get it pNp
Catalyst, I have a feeling you're a secret marketing guy for these companies ...not being skeptical or mean or anything
You just are a really good spokesperson for some aftermarket companies, making us all want to dish out money for those mods. That Pnp's getting tempting.
3 Psi ...are the gains you feel something along the lines of getting a I/h/e?
Also, port/polish means you have to get high octane fuel?
And ...you know somebody had to say it, but if you can a dyno would be much appreciated as well

Well, as with any high performance car, you need to run premium fuel (91+ octane). With just the head, i was able to pull a 6th and 7thgen civic that had i/h/e. And i still had the stock lx exhaust manifold.
I am currently working out some minor bugs with my turbo system, so i will show you dyno numbers and all that later. Im just focusing on getting it on the road safely again.
Anyways, i just like these products, so I just tell whats on my mind. I was thinking of getting a degree in marketing, but I didnt think i would be very good at it. So im majoring in Chemistry instead

Sorry ive been gone for soo long. Ive just been busy with SFpower being gone and all. I have been trying to fix a friends car. I just welded up his tranny case today (had 2 holes in it).
I did finally get my intercooler build, it is 31x9x3 (core) with 3" long tanks. I will get some pics up as soon as i remember to bring my camera to the shop.
I finally hooked up my exhaust today, so im not running off of the straight header. I am using a stock EX header, and a 2.25" exhaust. There isnt a single 7thgen in town that can hang with me. I have a cold air intake turned into a short ram, and it pulls pretty good. iamboo told me that it was kinda hard for him to keep up with me, and he was on 5 psi. It is a given that his car was faster, but still. If it were anywhere near stock he would just walk around me all day long.
I think that if this head is combined with an intake manifold and a good header, this could be an extremely NA quick car.

Hmm, so you took off the turbo to test this ported head then (since it says stock EX header)? Sorry, just want to be sure ...so the only mods you have is this:
2.25 exhaust
Short ram intake
P&P head.
And you're givin a 5psi turboed civic a run for its money? Interesting.
