standard bulb but HID look???
standard bulb but HID look???
i just picked up a 98 ex and the previous owner had just in installed new black housing headlights so i'm just curious if theres a standard bulb that will give that somewhat hid blueish look without putting an hid kit into a crystal housing and possibly blinding other drivers

I put the Phillips Crystal Vision ultra headlights in mine. It gives a white HID'ish look and the light output is just as good as stock.

This is just a very short review of the HiPro Power HID look-a-like halogen bulbs. Blue tinting on bulb with silver tips....these look just like the Philips brand fogs in terms of design which the OEMs comes with...direct fitment...you don't need to take off the bumper to get to the fogs...you can take the headlights out...much easier...don't even have to take them out all the way...just be sure to put some shop cloth or towel to prevent the bottom of headlights from scratching your bumper....reach down...unhook wire...twist to the right to unlock and pop out...same for the other side.... voila~!...as for the look.

no halogen bulb will ever come close to hid light spectrum, i dont care how dark the coating is and how dim they are. two totally different technologies. incandescent vs fluorescent.
