Just curious if you take off your rims for the winter or not? Debating if I should leave mine off for the winter and then put them on later on next year? I have had problems with chrome rims in the past rusting over time just wondering if you have had any problems with your rims with all the rain and mud that get thrown around during the winter.

Last time I checked. . . I don't believe they've ever needed to use salt in most parts of WA state. They should just be using sand. However. . . with all the moisture, chrome will have a harder time staying in prime shape over the winter. Get an inexpensive set of aluminum rims for the winter. . . . or just switch to aluminum. They're much easier to care for, lighter, and usually less-expensive than chrome.

precisely, you are correct, they dont use salt here thank god.
i wouldnt even bother taking off your rims they will be fine, unless you plan to travel over the pass a lot where you'll encounter sand on the roads. this year is el nino, so the winter is going to be warmer.
Ok cool, Yeah I ended up with the Enkei RS6. My old subaru had chrome and that rusted really bad thank goodness I didn't have it very long. But yeah thanks for the advice never had really a good set of rims to worry about till I got my 01 now I really care since its new and offically all mine
