SoNiCcIvIc thanks the Bay Area 7thgencivic.com members.
Thank you all for coming. Without you guys, this meet wouldn't have been as worthwhile as it was. I enjoyed myself meeting up with you guys and also hanging out with some of you afterwards... (Vic, Bill... to name a few.) LoL, you guys have got to let Bill take you for a drive in his car! That was THE funniest part of that evening. It was nice seeing all the Civics together and hopefully within the next two meets or so, Vic won't be the only guy with a body kit! It was nice to also see a 6th generation Civic... Lisa's boyfriend's ride. (Surprised to see Lisa at the very last minute but never late!)
I also thank Jason for his support, and to everyone who's contributing pictures. I'm sorry that Nicole made it really late, but wasn't too late to see Sonny's ride and a few more 7th gen Civics... and just to let you know Nicole, you are very worth waiting for. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves.
I dunno if I am any good at "orgainzing" meets but I really tried to make it convenient for everyone - though some people had to drive quite some time to be in Milpitas (so go ahead... throw your trash at me for that one... nah... don't.
) there were some who couldn't come to our first idea for a destination meet... San Fran, but still a lot of people made it anyway it was a success. Some people couldn't stay (it ended up being just 3 people, and later - 4!... and the some returned, hehe) but hey, perhaps the next meet we can do something different.
Bill has an idea of having a meet at his place and serving up a barbeque! Sounds great, eh? Also, we can't forget about roundeyedricegirl's meet. To have two meets between now and early-mid April isn't impossible but I'm not sure if people are seriously up to that. I'm sure something can work out.
For some, it seemed like the meet was to check out each others rides, and that was it. For others, and myself, it was also an opportunity to make some new friends that I could hang out with in the future, and to me... that means a lot. (Yes, kew friends with kew cars! ) Again, I thank you all for being there - until next time, you guys!
My thoughts,
Zell

Hehe, I just found out that roundeyedricegirl's arrival will be in late April, so it looks like there is time for another meet before that! You guys up to it? Perhaps late this month to a month from today, like early April? I need some votes!
Im down for a meet every month or even sooner. I look at it like some poeple that make the last one will make the next one and some people that cant make this next one will make the next. Like I said I am hella down for having everyone over to my house for a nice BBQ. the end of this month or begining of April. We can do a little pot luck watch a flix on my bad a Tv system and just have a good time. I can smoke some ribs and maybe a salmon. It will be tight. well for those that havent read the other fourm I have built us a web site so check it out. and if you have any dope pictures of our meet email them to me and I will post them. well talk to you all later

did anyone realize that the last weekend of march is easter??? i dunno bout you guys, but i might be with family... but hey, who knows.
Good looking out GirlRacer! Well shes right Easter is not the time to plan another meet. So we can do it the week before or the week after. The sunday after, April 7th is the first day of daylights savings so we will have and extra hour of light. Im down to do it when ever. We are all 7thgencivic brothers and sisters so my house is your house so you all are welcome to stop by anytime. I BBQ usually every weekend in the summer. Well I am going to put something on the our web page and feel free to write your opinons on dates in the guest book. Well till later.

You travelled all the way from Sacramento... I think we could!
Hmm, I think it's inevitable for people to want something else (or more) than just BBQ. It sounds like a good idea to me.
Hehe, so what's for dessert? Is it kew if people bring their own dishes?

damn, I suck, I've been in cali for couple years, but I don't know where Rodeo is. I really hope that I can join you guys, cuz I had fun last time and I am sure that I'll have more fun to meet ya'll again. the only thing i am worrying about is I have to work on Sat. but I'll try to make it anyways. and I wanna know one more thing, I remember that I saw a silver civic that had a intake that fit with any kind of strut. can anyone tell me what brand it is? I have OBX front strut and it sucks, I figured it out that I can't put any one kind of intake except the one I saw in our meeting...
hey sonny,
ur probably talkin about my short ram intake. its polished and has blue rubber fittings. its made by OBX, and will fit with any strut bar. i am actually looking to get a cold air intake for the summer, so if you're interested, i can just sell you mine. email me.

you know what, if I can find a CAI that can fit under my obx strut, I'd rather get it than a short ram, as you think. let me know if you can find one, ok? thanks!
