Happy new Year yall

Hey man...Sunday is OFF!!! REPEAT NO RACE SUNDAY THE 4th!!

The event has been postponed until the 11th...the following sunday.

I personally am pretty damn bummed, but what can ya do right?!

Rob....I'll need you to go to Office Depot/Max and purchace two packages of magnetic paper @ $12 a piece. Each has 5 sheets in it...plenty of paper, we should have about two extra sheets to play with. Let me know when you get it and we'll get together and I'll make your numbers for ya. Pretty simple after I figured it out on my own. Cheaper too!! lol

yeah, the weather down on the southern side of Co. Springs is wet but up on the north side it's stickn' Im a little glad it was postponed though, I need to get my numbers too. Do these magnets come black? and then are you painting them or whats the secret here?

damn and 35 bucks is on the expensive side, im just saying that cause in KS the two different places i go ranges from 10- 20 bucks for non SCCA members. I bet the lots here are more expensive to rent out though too.

No the magnets don't come in black...it's white VERY THIN magnetic PAPER...hence the white color. lol Basically you just run it through the printer as you would any other kind of paper. I'm using Photoshop to do the numbers, then trimming the edges off...pretty simple stuff really.

But yeah, $35 is kinda expensive...however, if you look at the alternative...a HEFTY fine for wreckless driving because you wanted to screw around in some parking lot with your friends....I'LL PAY $35 ANY DAY! lol

ok, got another q. i went office depot and they didn't have anything, then i went to office max and found these sheets that were for car doors but there was only 2 sheets in them for 30 bones a package. i asked for magnetic sheets and i was pointed to those, what exactly should i be looking for? Im coming up blank, office depot even suggested hobby lobby.

What your looking for is a pack of Magnet sheets made by Avery. Model or part or style number is 3270 (that's what it says on the upper right corner of the package) The package is mostly red in color, with a yellow section on the right hand side. These are made for Ink Jet printers and are VERY thin. I've tried them on my car and they stick PERFECTLY! So don't worry about them not working. Oh and on the front of the package is an example of some soccer mom's work. The pic is of one of the sheets that says "Scott's Soccer Schedule" at the top and a pic of her kids on it. Overlapping the pic is a pair of scissors. The package also says "Now with 5 sheets 25% MORE!"

I hope that's detailed enough for ya! If you can get them, they work in the printer, you should get TWO packages, for a total of 10 sheets, leaving you with two extra, to screw up with! lol

Hope that helps!

What time are you all planning showing up at the world area? mmm2donuts at coors field what time did you show up, and what heat did you end up in? I think i may leave my house at about 830 and get there a little before nine just so i can at least get in the second heat. I cruised with andy last night but i think he has Reserve drills, so i think he is a no go.

It's a shame that andy won't be there, but we'll catch him sometime, lol! imp:

HEY MAN!!! Long time no talk!!! I'm gettin' the Neuspeed RACE springs (2.5" drop front, 2.0" drop rear), camber kit, and bushings...if I have enough left over, I'll get a rear sway bar..I dunno. I'm gettin' the stuff tomorrow, Thurs. and either I'll do it or I'll have a guy do it on Fri. I dunno if I'll have time...we'll see.

I'm gettin' mine put on Friday as well...Tobi is doin it for me..."THE Honda Ghandi" as he's called. We should meet up sometime, and do a little CO run with Rob (a.k.a. mmm2donuts)...hell when Chris get's his *** up here, we're doin' another meet. I might start to get together with the EP3 crowd as well. There's about 7 or 8 of them. We'll see....but I know we'll enjoy our new suspension!!! lol

BTW, why don't you autoX? You should come to watch the next event, if not run in it, it's Feb. 8th @ the world arena down by you.

Check it out, www.rmsolo.org

i think it's a good drop.. low enough to look good, but still everday driveable. It's a lot better than the 5 finger gap it had before. Good stuff, dude!

I didn't do it as much for looks, as I did it for racing purposes. When you're racing you need some travel/wheel gap. It's low enough to drop the center of gravity of the overall car, make the suspension stiffer for cornering and such...so overall I'd say the drop is PERFECT for me. True, it could be lower...but I don't think it being any lower would benefit me that much. Besides, it's still a daily driver, and with the wheather we've been having...it's PLENTY low, lol.

yeah good to see your car is coming down there fattymcj, definitly looks better, your still not as low as u shouldbe, your springs will settle, and your shocks will leak some gas, then you'll be to one finger, once my shocks were shoot, i couldn't stick my pinky into the gap, then once i put my Koni's on i have one and ahalf in the back and one in the front. I have 4 inches in the front for clearance. How much clearance from the bottom of your front lip to the ground do you all have, and i dont mean the rubber spoiler.

****... I ripped that rubber spoiler off the first day I had the car!!! lol I took a dip too fast and voila...off it went...oh well. lol

Yeah, everyday it drops a little more, I can see it, but I'm hoping the shocks will last a little while longer.

I've already done some "practice" in the back parking lot @ Garts and OMG, I can take turns SOO much faster, I was taking nice tight turns @ about 45-50mph and it was COLD...so when my tires warm up...I'll be good to go. It was, however, still pushin' like a BITCH, so I'll need to get the 03 front sway bar, with either the rear RSX-S bar or Progress rear bar and Grey's endlinks. After that, it's some chasis stiffening and I'll be good to go! Oh, can't forget the Azenis!!!

yeah get the RSX S sway bar, it will help with your turn more then a front will, front wheel drive cars just want to drag that back end if it could like a dog whiping its ***, At the event at the world area i was softening my fronts and stiffining the rears as much as possible, and each time i would gain more traction and hey while your on the subject http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...91#post1756091 this is the cheapest i have ever seen this bar, i would not pass it up if your wanting one. yeah and Azenis are the best investment you can make. any performance tire with ratings like that will cut 6 seconds or way more on anyone.
