I took the liberty of circling the portions of your P28 ECU that kinda coincide with the DIY P28 chip install guide I found online. Differences I've found between your ECU and the DIY guide is the right-most circle, the resistor is installed differently (the resistor is installed in a barely different location and I don't see a jumper wire).

Thanks, now the question is... what do I do about a chip that'll run this new h22? I'm assuming that the chip saying "nitrous" would mean it'll be a rich tune that I don't want to run? The car wasn't running when I bought it a little while back.

Not sure. I'm curious as to whether or not you could send the ECU to a chip programming company/take it to a local shop that does the same so they can map it for a stock H22. I'm sure that's an option, but I can't be certain. This is all uncharted territory for me.

me too lol. I don't live anywhere near any dyno or tuning shop. out in the middle of nowhere. I need/want a chip that will be stock. meaning I want the h22 I'm swapping to run like it did in the original car. I don't know how much of a problem that is lol...

If I were to go that route.. which ecu would I want to buy? I am just finding that there are about 100 different types of ecu's.. what's with that??
