turboing a d15b vtec-e engine

just wondering if i should upgrade the engine. or if this one is ok for stock internals for the boost i am going to put on it.

6 psi. just a little but, is that a good engine to turbo? if not i wanna do a swap

You can safely do the 6PSI
If you want to do a swap, a B16A, B18C, or K20 will require matching gearbox and a new ECU (with wire-loom).

I'm contemplating such an upgrade myself.

I would say 6psi should be safe with stock internals but any more and the head will not be able to handle it. It all depends on your plans. You are wanting to turbo to get some power. But eventually you will want more because if you want to turbo then you will want more power eventually and the best thing to do is swap really it would save you alot of money in the long run. But always remember there will always be a faster car out there. It all depends on what your plans are on what you want to do.
