I own a 91 civic hb d15b 4speed ac no powersteering i have to admitt this thing is a dog turd. how hard would it be to get 300hp or so off of this thing. i havnt looked real hard yet but i cant seem to find any internals for my engine any links would be appreciated

will take the D motor out and swap it to a obd1 jdm B/16 b/18 first get the complete swap motor and tranny and wiring harrness then when you read turbo it you will need turbo kit i would go with www.full-race.com the hondata S300 the aem fuel rail 1000cc in jectors bigger fuel pump 255 more then likley fuel perssures regulater and a hondata boost controller that will make 300whp but if you want to get it out of the d15b the J,E make the pistons eagle make some rod's and then you will have to send your block off to have it sleved and bored out with a block guard put in it it would cost more to get 300whp out of a D15b then A obd1 GS-R b18c

FJ Distributers is soon to be releasing D15 rods. Stock D15 rods will hold to about 180whp, D16 rods will hold to about 230whp. But tuning is key here.

Otherwise, pick up a D16 whatever. D16Y8/D16Z6 if you prefer VTEC. Hit up FJ Distributers and get Vitaras with his Rods. That's $500. Stock cams will be good for 300hp. Do a rebuild of the bottom end, head if you wish.

Figure out a nice turbo for it, many people seem to like T3/T4's. Find a Intercooler on Ebay, go to RC Autoworks for charge piping and a down pipe. $150 will get you a Cast Manifold on ebay. Walbaro Fuel pump, DSM 440 injectors.

Don't worry about sleeving the block or a block gaurd. The block will hold upwards of 500hp, and so will the Vitara pistons. You can if you really want, but that's money better spent elsewhere.
