b20??
b20??
the car i just bought came with a b18b1, but the engine is getting old. Im thinking about dropping 850 bux on a b20. what do you think?
oh ya, i should probably tell you what kind of car it is haha! It's a 1992 honda civic hatchback Dx.

wow you guys really have no clue what your talking about do you??
above is correct but that is it. the b20 did come in a cr-v but has more torque than the b18b. i should know i have a b20 swapped integra. its about as fast as a b18c with the ls intake cams and manifolds. it makes a few more pnies than an ls and about 20+ more ftlbs. and $850 is way too much. i bought mine out the door with tax included for $565.
it just doesnt rev as high as a b18, but power is made at a different rpm so spinning high rpms isnt necessary. b20 vtec is a great way to make power too. if you want to slap on a b16-b18 head it will definately wake it up a lot more. go to B20Vtec.Com ask there these guys dont know JACK!!

yes he is right a b20 came out of cr-v's. they are good because they are a little bigger in discplacement and then you can do the b20 v-tec swap for even more ponies..my buddy has one in his 93 dx and it hauls ***.....
