Shift lock solenoid
Well guys today ripped out the carpet in my civic..soaked..i think my heater core has a leak..no biggy....probably gonna bedliner the interior..someday..well lately i have had to use my key to put it in gear..well got to readin my shop manual...lol..yeah i read it actually...seems like the shift lock solenoid..has anyone else had a problem..and where can i get a new one..thanks all help will be greatly appreciated

If the solenoid is getting voltage... It may be the defective.
Was it working before the carpet removal ??
Can you here a click or feel anything (touching solenoid) while in park and stepping on the brake pedal ??
