Exclamation Toyos proxes r888

OMG so I want to buy those tires for my boyfriend for his 1992 eg6 and I keep on searching for 175/70-13 (because that's what all the websites I went on would tell me his tire size was) but the sizes start at 185/60-13 ?!?!?!!? Like are racing tires bigger? Can I still buy those for his honda or do they just not have the right size?!
I'm so lost!

PS. Please be patient with me I know absolutely NOTHING about cars.

Re: Toyos proxes r888

Well first of all you need to look at his tires and see that the last number is a 13 or 14. Second depending on who you talk to, the definition of the numbers on the tires. Here is my explanation and hope it helps, the first number is the width of the tire, so 185 is wider than the 175. the second number is the height of the tire of the rim, so the 70 is taller than the 60, the only thing that matters there is it could possibly change the speedometer but not by much. and the last number is the dimension of the wheel, so of course you cant put a 14 on a 13,,anything else dont hesitate to ask
