Hey guys, hopefully u can help me with this prob i've been having. I am having a very similar problem to the guy in this thread...... 94 Civic Brake Fading issue

Here it goes....

I recently replaced my Civic 1994 EG9 brakes pads with the front being Mintex and back being Velocity pads. Problem is that when i'm driving at extremely low speeds (e.g. Driving into a parking space or stop-go traffic) i sometimes get almost no brakes at all, flooring it completely.


What i tried thus far:
Replaced the both front and back brake lines.

Did you bleed the brake fluid properly?

Sounds like it could be air in the lines.

Thing is it had that exact problem before the lines, hence the reason for changing the brake lines.

I figured it could be one of three:

1. Bleed out was not done proper
2. The master cyliner rubber is defective and needs to be changed completely
3. When the installed the new brakes pads something may have not been done proper?

Please add or subtract any info on this. Thanx

i had the same problem with my 94 civic ex coupe and i replaced the master cylinder and it fixed it o and when u replace it be sure to bleed the master cylinder
