Tranny falls out of 2nd gear in a hard right turn only!
Tranny falls out of 2nd gear in a hard right turn only!
I have searched all over Google and can't find an answer or direction.. Please help if you can..
Issue:
After a recent transmission rebuild 2nd gear is falling back into neutral but ONLY when in a hard right turn (autoslalom). Doesn't matter on or off throttle, it falls out. If you hold the shifter during the corner it will stay in gear.
1989 Honda Crx
Cable Y1 manual transmission
Recently rebuilt (new syncros, rings, sleeves, bearings etc..) - full rebuild kit from Syncrotech.
Linkage seems okay, clutch feels fine, replaced the motor mounts... I don't want to jump right to tearing the transmission apart again. I drained the fluid and there is no metal in it. If it is internal, I don't understand why it would only be effected when cornering..
If anyone has any insight or faced the same issue please help.
Cheers,
Michael
