1993 Civic LX 4-door Rear Driver Door stuck

I have a 4-door '93 Civic LX. The rear driver's side outer door handle is broken & the child safety lock is engaged...any ideas on how to get it open?

Pull the door card off, and open the door from the inside. If you're careful you can avoid damaging the door card

Got it figured out...a Slim Jim will get the job done. You have to get at just the right spot, but if you take a Slim Jim & hit the back of the mechanism, you can PUSH the lever down & it will open the latch.
