2000 watt inverter installation

I'm looking to install a 2000 watt inverter into my 1994 Honda Civic DX 1.5L automatic trans. is 2000 watt too much? do i have to swap out something to compensate?

What are you planning to run? 2000W is a lot. The stock alternator is only capable of around 1000W, and that's a peak speed.
