bogged down after throttle replacement
bogged down after throttle replacement
Hi Everyone,
i faced a strange problem after having my fuel injectors + throttle body replaced
The reason for the replacement was the car no idling properly so the workshop recommended a swap for both these parts.
The idle issue is resolved car does'nt stall anymore but its no longer the same either, it screams louder but seems choked instead of actually accelerating.
Would appreciate some help here please. It's a civic EG with a D16Y7 + cold air intake system and 3inch straight piping

Re: bogged down after throttle replacement
Did you buy it with the engine swapped? There are so many things it could be if it wasn’t done properly.
That exhaust certainly won’t help, either.

Re: bogged down after throttle replacement
any recommendation for what to do with the exhaust, previously it was running with the same 3" straight pipping and hks exhaust, but ever since i had the injectors and throttle body replaced the car completely bogged down and fuel average is shitty, no i swapped it myself and the car was running perfectly.
i noticed the workshop guys were having a difficulty in matching aTPS to the throttle body they tried 5 different TPS
