Alright so how big do you want to go with throttle body size? and what is stock size normally? If i add a high flow fuel rail, new lines, injectors, and a electric "performance" fuel pump will that allow me to go with a bigger throttle body?

what kind of car? usually a bigger throttle body will not help much and can cause issues with the tps sensor. many aftermarket replacements do not have spots for all the sensors and are mostly for "track" only use. there are services to bore out the stock tb, but like i said some of us had issues with the tps not reading the right voltage. and there is no real power gains. you have to spend alot of time playing with the tps sensor and measuring voltages, and also adjusting the idle screw. just so the car runs normally. porting also removed the tapered V-groove inside the inlet, which negatively affects air speed.
For a d17,
Stock TB
-top diameter 60mm
-bottom diameter 58mm
Ported
-top 63mm
-bottom 60mm

yeah i thought that would be the case.. its a civic Hx D16y8 im in the process of rebuilding it so i figured i would see if a new throttle body would be worth it.. what about adding the injectors fuel ral and the fuel pump? you think that would be much of a difference?
