First Start In A Year
1995 EX B20/LS manual, 100k miles.
Flying down to my hometown in Florida where I keep this car at my mom's house. My wife and I moved to North Carolina in October 2019 and I haven't started this engine since January 2020. Spending two weeks in Florida next month and I want to run the engine and may even temporarily insure and register it as I miss driving it, This link https://www.hagerty.com/media/mainte...long-dead-car/ provides good suggestions. I don't plan on changing the oil (less than 2k old synthetic) or the coolant (less than one year old). I do intend replacing new fuel and fully charging the battery. Also, I plan to remove the plugs and manually crank the engine over several times to get oil to the head before using the starter. If I get it on the road I will take it easy on it until we return to NC. Hoping the tires are usable.
Any suggestions?

Re: First Start In A Year
We gott'er dicked!
Replaced oil and filter, took off valve cover + spark plugs and poured a half quart oil over the cams and a cap full of oil in each cylinder. Battery charged overnight. Ended up replacing distributor cap due to crack in the center point. Much better spark afterwards. One fuel injector harness (very near clip) has a positional break that a zip tie fixed.
Will probably need a new front left tire.
My son installed a new set of Blox mono tube, adjustable coilovers. Just waiting to get the title, registration, and insurance in his name in a couple weeks.
