Won't stay crunk...
Hello, I recently bought a 93 Civic Sedan with a 1.5 (that was put into some the one I bought had a bad engine). The problem that I get is, seldomly after trying to crank it up after the engine warmed up, it will crank, rev slightly up to around 1k rpms then just die. Then when I try and start it to it will crank but not start a few tries, maybe crank up and die a couple times before it finally stays on. It did this a month ago then nothing until tonight. I even had my mechanic look at it but it didn't do it on him the whole day he had it. It hasn't done it with my wife either. And it gives no engine codes or anything. Any ideas?

Another possibility is the coil and/or igniter within the distributor is weak and on it's way out. Test the coil and igniter as shown in the video at the bottom of this reply (my signature).
