Car Start Issue When Warm
Car Start Issue When Warm
When I go to start the car after not being used for some time, It cranks and starts right away and idles at around 1500rpm. After running the car for a bit, the rpms die down to around 750. When I turn off the car and go to start it again, the car cranks but won't start up now that it is warmed up.I have to wait for the car to cool down for it to start again. I changed the battery, changed the spark plugs, made sure each spark plug wire was getting spark, made sure the fuel line has pressure. So from my understanding its not a spark issue and it is not a fuel pressure issue. Not really sure what would cause the car to do this. Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Car Start Issue When Warm
When the issue happens again try removing the o2 sensor harness connector and starting it. If it starts it could be a weak o2 sensor?
What model (LX, EX,) and which engine is it?
Does it have a FITV or IACV that controls idle?
