Engine Knock

I have a newly built d16a6 and after a complete warm up with idle rpm's (750) I'm hearing a knock. Oil pressure at warm idle is 25 psi (75 psi+ at highway speeds) and the knock seems to be up top the best I can tell with my stethoscope. I have re-torqued the rocker shaft hold down bolts and valve lash is correct. I have 2200 miles on the fresh rebuild. I believe the knock is oil pressure related and at this point I don't believe it is rod knock because with a slight increase in rpm (900) the noise disappears. I think maybe it could be excessive clearance from the rocker bridge or the cam cradle and these area's are expanding with the engine heating up. ? Anyway, I would like to get your thoughts on this issue please.

Does the oil have metal flakes in it?

Re: Engine Knock

-1 bottle of Lucas HD would be your best bet, temporarily, until you find the issue.

I've run it in hundreds of cars. It's great for burning and knocking.

I like Lucas too and have added some but noise remains.
