Starter In, Aggravation Gone.
Finally got around to replacing the old wonky starter I've been tolerating for over a year now. Got to a point of driving around with a malllot and a sawed off broomstick to tap on it at times when it wouldn't crank. So, a used oem starter ($45) and a half an hour out of my life later my car starts everytime now for the past three weeks. Sometimes it doesn't pay to be cheap...lol.

I was hoping for some Rube Goldberg contraption to operate the hammer from the drivers seat.

I distinctly recall a setup where he had a hand-cranked pump and a reservoir full of coolant to keep the coolant system full (or was it coolant circulation?) on a challenge car. That he operated at about head level from inside the car while driving. lol
