Tps replaced high idle
Tps replaced high idle
I have a modified 1993 civic that had a check engine light so i checked it out and it was for the throttle position sensor. Assuming it was bad i replaced it and now on start up is at 2000 rpm to 3000 rpm. I tried the ecu reset thing where you remove the fuse to the ecu and disconnect the battery but that didnt work. Any advice?

What exactly did you calibrate (adjust) your new TPS to??
(IIRC it may need to be 0.49v at closed throttle)
