Engine Coolant Sending unit plug

Ok guys need some help. Im doing the head gasket on my 95 with 1.5L and noticed that i broke the connector for the Engine Coolant Sending Unit. (Just for reference im speaking of the single wire plug under the distributor. Any ideas on how to fix that? Its split right up the side, hate to just tape it up an have cooling issues after i get everything put together.

Thanks in advance. I can post pictures if needed for better help

go to a junkyard find the same connector and cut it off leaving a couple inches of wire so you can solder it on to your car.
