1994 civic ex 1.6l vtec help please
I have recently blew my head gasket on my car. Took the cylinder head off. Took it to a machine shop and he said it was worped and he could not fix it. I have call around town(tulsa ok) and can not find one. Fiund a machine shop that says they might be able to "unworp" it. By bolting to a piece of metal and heating it up and pushing back down to flat. Or another idea is, is their a different cylinder head that I can use on my block? I believe my engine is a d16z6. This is my first honda. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.

"Unworp" LOL. The process is generally known as "straightening", and is pretty much as you described.
Straightening a warped head is an industry accepted practice, and is actually better and safer than milling/machining a warped head. It would be straightened as much as possible, then might only need a "light shave" to bring the gasket surface back to perfectly flat and still be well within minimum head height specs..
I can't offer any info about a swap.
