new clutch car is in permamnt neutral help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok so I dropped the tranny out of my delslow this week but I really mean I dropped it. when I took it off the imput shaft was hanging angular and I dropped and pried the tranny off. I changed my clutch and put the new clutch plate and parts all back back into place and installed everything. I noticed how I left the car in gear when I took it off and when I had the tranny dropped I noticed the imput shaft was easy to spin AND MOVE

everything has been put on correctly from what I know but now the car is in neutral in every gear and I can move each drive shaft freely as if it were in neutral while the car is placed in gear....

I don't know whats going off but I have having a transmission engagement problem or something.

the car is in a permamnt neutral state.. please help..

It's possible you broke something. My money is the install wasn't done properly though. We can take stabs at this all day truth is you need to remove the transmission again and check your work.

thanks man for the response. I hate doing things twice these things are reall time consuming at the most. it turns out I think it was my passenger side drive axle not meeting the splines inside the casing. im going to try and fit it properly in tomorrow and hope that does the trick. I tried to wiggle and jiggle it in but I think im gunna need to hit in in somehow with abit more force. hopefully that does the trick

\TURNS OUT THE INSTALL WAS DONE AMAZING!
ALL IT WAS> THE DRIVERS SIDE CV SHAFT NEEDED TO BE TAPPED IN WITH THE HAMMER MORE.

JOB IS DONE

NExt PHASE I have managed to unsease the alternator with little force by tapping on it I used my impact gun and spun the pully on it.

the thing seems and looks fine the brass on the coiling inside looks clean when I purchased the car the belt was laying underneath the car and all snapped off due to the seizing up.

im just wondering if the alternator is still good. im going to try and youtube how to hook the terminals up to test it with a voltage tester. if anyone knows anything easyer please let me know.
