Did you put the right ones in the right spot? (does that matter on a 95?) if the wrong cable is on the wrong plug it could be an issue(i think) also make sure everything is hooked up everywhere else. Check all connections

I dont want to say NO and be wrong, anything is possible.. Did you check your fuses? What does the car do when you turn the key?
Also check the DIY section, there is a post there about checking for spark

Do the checks for spark. Look in the DIY section as Gunner said.
If the coil can't produce enough spark to jump at least 3/4 inch air gap, that's a problem.
Leaving a plug wire off with the engine running puts major stress on the ignition coil.
Could have pushed it over the edge.

i get spark....but it doesn't appear to be strong spark, i mean, it won't throw 3/4 inch. a mechanic friend of mine said that ANY spark would light off the fuel, but i am not so sure...thoughts?

Re: 95 civic wont start
How large of a gap will the spark jump, and where are you doing this check?
If checked directly at the coil, 3/4" would be great, that's about 30kV.
If checked at the end of the spark plug wire, 1/2" might be ok, that would represent maybe around 20kV available at the end.
(There isn't really a good rule here, since things can vary with voltage, air conditions and humidity, and if the spark has a path to help it travel.)
When bad, many of these can still give enough spark to jump the .044 gap of a plug laying on top of the valve cover, but if that's the most spark it can give it's not enough to run the engine. It still has to be able to jump the same gap when the plug is in a pressurized environment, and that takes more energy.
It might only take about 2,000 volts to ionize a .044" spark gap in open air. It takes a lot more than that to ionize the same gap inside a cylinder under compression.
