94 Civic Ex 4dr, just got it about a month ago
My abs module was disconnected by previous owner. just plugged it back in the other day. drove it a while and checked it. its throwing a code 6.... and yes just 6 found a post that says its some kind of fail safe relay or something. I noticed my brakes were a bit firmer too after pluggin the ABS module back in. SRS is throwing codes for the driver bag... which i think the previous owner also disconnected and the power supply? code 9-2 what should i be checking for power? it sounds like the module is under the dash but is the power supply something separate or is it telling me the module isn't getting power? is there a way to reset the ABS system similar to the reset for the SRS? i have tried some other forums but no seemed to be any help at all.

Hmm so today at lunch i drove through a HUGE puddle. water up almost past my bumper for a second. parked my car outside work then when i went to leave i heard a short screeching and my ABS light went out. picked up speed and slammed on the brakes....... sure enough my ABS was working. i tried it about 2 more times on the way home then on the 3rd time my light came back on and the tires just locked up again. light wont go out again.
