I guess I should have stated my question better. Ok here I go .. I have a auto tranny with D15B7 and I wanna do a swap to D16Z6 but it's a manual tranny but I wanna keep my auto and so with all the d series motors will the motors bolt up to and D series tranny regardless if it's automatic or 5speed??

Re: Trany question

I will have to check on it but i think there is a lot involved going from manual to auto..Most people do swap auto to manual but the other way around requires more parts..I dont think you can just take a manual motor and plug and play an auto tranny..you have to get all the pieces in between..I think and don't quote me without looking into it more you will have to change the harness, cv axles (i think), and shift mechanism, tranny mounts and probably the ecu. From what i read it will bolt up however you have to make sure you have all the right internals..Someone correct me if i am wrong...
