93 d15b turbo - getting too much fuel
Hey there. I hope im posting this in the right forum lol. Im new to the honda scene but i've done plenty of research and have a bit of knowledge now lol but here it goes.
I purchased a 93 civic hatch with a d15b turboed. The car was already tuned and ready to roll but i swapped the engine into my 2000 dx coupe. I've done all the necessary changes to the harness such as the obd2b to obd1 conversion harness, i'm running a p28 chipped ecu, ive changed the 3 wire iacv to a 2 wire, changed the injector plugs, distributor wiring, altenator, etc. The engine is running dsm 450cc blue top injectors with a resistor box from an eclipse but seeming it was my first engine swap, i didnt realize what the resistor box was right away. So i had everything finished (except the resistor box) and fired her up and worked perfect. I took her out for a test run and she ran fine for 10 to 15 mins then shut off.
I did more research and found out about the resistor box so i wired it into my harness but the car still doesnt run. Shes still getting way to much fuel to fire up correctly. I pulled my ecu and opened it up to check my injector drivers but they dont look to be burnt up or melted down but there is a white residue around them. I read in a few places that if they were fried that i wouldnt get any fuel but then i also read that if they are fried the injector would stick open and spray too much fuel.
I would really appreciate some help because this has me stumped.
thanks

Re: 93 d15b turbo - getting too much fuel
If the engine was getting too much fuel before it shut down you would have had massive amounts of black smoke. Did you notice any? If you check craigslist you can find people selling injectors for that engine pretty easily.
