rev-limiter

2 of my buddys have civics one has a factory d16z6 and the other has a factory d15b7 and they both hit the rev limiter at 7 and i have a factory d16z6 and mine hits the rev limiter at only 6 and a half grand

why is that

Your rev limiter should rock at 7411 unless your engine has been swapped. Your sure its a d16z6?

yea it says d16z6 on the block everything you listed is correct except for the rev but i dont know about the computer but my vtec works too

nope no CEL do u think that the computer could be chipped or the car could be tuned?

ok well hell it doesnt mater cause when i was racing a ford focus zx3 it hit 7 lol but beside the point i won lol
