Rep Power: 0 1995 Civic Turbo Issues
I have a 1995 civic that I actually just came across. It needs some work, but its a real gem. Right now what I have done to it is the following -
D15B Vtec JDM swap (7800km)
HKS Turbo kit
HKS Cold air intake
AEM Fuel Rail
AEM Fuel Pump
Forged Headers
High compression forged pistons
Ported cam
RS Racing Injectors
Hondata ECU
Full Synergy suspension w/ coilovers
Xenon Body kit
Deep purple paintjob
Stage 3 Centerforce clutch
Magnaflow dual exhaust
Shortshifter
12" Momo steering wheel
2 Street fighter sparco racing seats w/ 5 point harnesses
I'm sure i'm forgetting some stuff, but we'll say that it's heavily modified. Anyways after I got this, the boost gauge seems to constantly stage at -20 unless it's floored, then i'll boost maybe 2psi (i've seen it run 20psi). The clutch is brand new the previous owner said, and may need adjusting, as it was slipping so bad that I had to tow it home the other day. The car seems to constantly redline when the clutch slips and the right side of the exhaust is plugged with fiberglass. Would the early redlining be caused because of the clutch slipping? Also would it possibly not be boosting properly because of the clutch, and because of clogged exhaust? I have it in the shop right now getting looked at, but i'd like to get an idea of what to expect and if any of you have dealt with this before?
Thanks,
Mark
