Rep Power: 0 Transmission issues? Heavy pedal.
Hey, so I am new here and I hope you guys could help me, About 4 days ago my 93 civic 1.5 overheated on my girlfriend about 6 miles away from home, I flat towed it home, fixed it and now its running, but now it seems like the gas pedal is really heavy and I have to rev up real high just to keep 65... We changed the tranny fluid and the car engine idles and runs better than ever, could I have damaged the transmission by towing it in neutral(automatic)?
I kept the speed below 45. Any suggestions or ideas would be helpful, thanks.

more likely the engine was damaged from the overheating... hard to say for sure and is the check engine light on? may want to check cylinder compression.

Highly unlikely. How else would they get the car to move? I agree with Gearbox. You're gonna cause the damage from the overheating if anything.
