4th gen ecu

I have a 91 honda civic lx sedan, did a d16a6 motor swap, needing a ecu for it, running the stock lx ecu but it's not revving right, throwing my censors off, burning out o2 censors and plugs, horrible miss. The motor came out of a 91 crx si! Can only find one on e bay and it's outrageously priced, any help???

I'm assuming v-tec, right? Have a guy here in town with one already chipped for $100 shipped. He also has a dizzy for it for another $50. PM me if you want it.

Re: 4th gen ecu

Am I wrong? I thought the SI's were only vtec. Are you sure it came out of an SI?

Re: 4th gen ecu

They made the d16a6 in the si crx but not for long because they were non v tec, they are not very popular motors but strong running. You can do a v tec swap on them but no the d16a6 motors were not made v tec sadly
