Rep Power: 0 Gas mileage - ridicukously low!!
My 1990 automatic Civic Sedan DX is giving me 27 mpg in winter. I am reading posts here that 4th generation Civics are known to give at least 35 mpg in city.
How much are you getting out of your 4th generation (1988-91) Civic?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Gas mileage - ridicukously low!!
I'm on my 3rd tank of gas on my 89 DX HB 1.5 L 5 spd, that I just had rebuilt by Motorworks.com ( 4yr-48K warranty parts and labor, all for $2250.00). First tank, 27.2 MPG and the second tank, 33.3 MPG. I drive 30 miles of highway and 30 miles of redlights daily. Everything is stock but the ultralight flywheel. This still beats the hell out of my 10 MPG 350-V8 4X4.

might want to look into a tune up.. check engine light on at all? mine was getting bad gas mileage because it was running rich so i just cleaned up my EGR valve and IAC and it went back to normal
