Turbo b18b help!
Turbo b18b help!
I have a 2000 civic hatch with a b18b1 turbo. 255 warlbro pump, rc 550 injectors, aem fuel rail, turbonetic wastegate, treadstone front mount ic, greedy bov and Hondata s300. The car was driving fine until the other day when I plugged a sensor in the car loses all throttle response around 2200 rpms sometimes a little higher than that. When it happens the car will bog down until it goes back to and idle and the throttle will return or if you change into a higher gear it will come back. But when you hit that rpm range it does it again. When the car is cold it doesn't do it nearly as bad or as much but at normal operating temp it does it in every gear. The car will start and rev just fine while sitting still. I found two wires that weren't connected so I plugged them up it ended up being the crank angle sensor. The car ran fine with it unhooked but after I hooked it up it threw a CEL on hondata it said error code 4 (crank angle sensor) I unplugged the sensor but the car still acts the same. I took the battery cable off to rest the car but the the CEL comes back. I have the new sensor just got to wait till morning to put it on. But I don't understand how it ran fine unplugged and like crap now. Could that sensor cause the problems I'm having? Or is it something else. I checked the tps volts and it was good the map is fine. I put new plugs in yesterday as well .Any help would be amazing. Thank you
