97 civic build newbie questions
Ok so I just got this 97 civic with a d16y8. I also got a spare top half of the motor the guy stated it had dart sleeves, edelbrock performance x intake, the head is a z6, 450cc injectors, and Apr stud bolts. I have never swapped a head much less one like this. Any ideas how hard this swap is going to be? I wanna take the stock y8 off and put the built up z6 on. Can I use stock fuel pump, does this sound like I can boost it or is this kinda setup for no boost I am kinda lost. Any help would be much appreciated.

So nobody can help me? I'm going back to Honda tech this forum was a waste of time thanks for putting my post back to the original thread bc there was so much help there

so, you have a Head with Dart sleeves? that is impossible because the cylinder walls in the BLOCK are what we be dart sleeves.
If you are planning to boost, there is no point in a head swap, build the Y8 and boost it.
