d16y8 to d16z6 swap need help

i performed a d16y8 to d16z6 swap the car runs and everything works but the car has no power i was told the d16z6 makes more power than the y8 but my take off is very weak any help possible on ways to fix this problem would be greatly accepted thanks

well, um for a start a d16z6 has only 3 horse power more and 1 feet of torque less then a d16y8. so no you wont see much difference

yeah, it does have more power. questions is by how much.
At the least is easier and cheaper to do than a B-series
