Don't think its possible, and imo not worth it, if you want to go DOHC do a B or K swap.

definitely not possible to make a D series DOHC. B or K swap, like buzzlightyear mentioned.

instead of paying for the swap, why don't you get a build plan for your y8, build it and boost, don't underestimate the d16, if you research you will find people can make decent power out of the d16 and you happen to have the y8 so you are already on a good path to power!!
