Hey I looked through a couple pages of threads and didn't really find anyone even mentioning anything about the Edelbrock Turbo kit for the D16Y8. Anyone Know (Use it), (heard about it), (Have any news for facts on it). It seems like a fairly perfect set-up (with the exception of the cheap electronic controller) for a d16Y8. Please anyone let me know what you think or if you have used it fill me in on any results.

i have a friend with that kit its awsome its the only kit on the market that comes with an intake manifold ive been in his car and its awsome and it sounds great he has had it for like 2 years naw and has had no problems.personally i think its the best kit out.thats my boys ride
he inspires me lol

To each is own. Not my thing I guess. I like the clean look myself. That ride is just way too flashy, especially with that 4 foot tach on the dash. And check out that snow plow lip...Eek!

Hey SpeedFoo i just watched your vid man,Nice trap speed just get the driver mod and cut some low 15's high 14's.


I upload my track vids, I only run 12.1-11.8 at 25lbs of boost on slicks

But I bet if you run slicks or even Dr's u can cut some 14's passes

Thanks man! I'm almost ready to head back out to the track with the new head, cam, exhaust, and PCV setup, so I might be all right this time around. I've also dumped about 150 pounds of stereo equipment and won't be running with a case of soda, 2 jugs of anti-freeze, 4 quarts of oil and a full tank of gas this time around either!
